 Life is good

Gerlinde: "I've been helping children  and families for years.
In my retirement, I'm a Volunteer Counsellor for the Salvation Army

Neil: "Pastoral work in Kenya and Canada. Also, I helped injured workers return to work
when I was employed by the Government of British Columbia, Canada.
Now retired, I work for the Salvation Army, helping people find work."

Yes, life is good

but sometimes
bad things happen to all of us:

Divorce.
Loss of Job.
Death of someone we love.
Ill health.

Cancer (Neil).

and other crisis situations.

Jesus said,
I have come that you will have life

in all its fullness....abundantly.

John 10:10

 HOPE  FOR TODAY.
LIGHT FOR THE WAY.

                                                                Neil and Gerlinde Jones

We all go through crisis in our lives, from time to time.

Crisis hit Gerlinde and me in November, 2010,

when I was diagnosed with cancer.

These articles are about what we've learned in the last 7 months.

Gerlinde and I have written these articles to share with you the
help we received. We hope our experience of crisis
will help you, too, in the crisis you’re going through.

Bible verses that helped us so much in my cancer-crisis.
Blessings and songs we’ve written.

Stories we've written.

1.       Nancy and the vase.

2.       Thomas Dorsey writes a hymn.

3.       A hymn helps.

4.       The wealthy man who had no money.

5.       Dr Viktor Frankl, prisoner, 1943-1945.

6.       Fiddler on the Roof.

7.      Bill and John have a cup of coffee.

8.      5 minutes rest.

9.       Why did this have to happen?
